Optimized Air & Water Management
For older tower retrofits, achieving optimal airflow is critical. While our crossflow fill includes basic louver sections, adding dedicated Cooling Tower Air Inlet Louvers at the basin perimeter is recommended to block sunlight and prevent algae growth.
Buying Tips for Wholesalers
- Custom Lengths: Crossflow towers vary greatly in height. Measure the exact vertical distance from the hanging pipe to the basin. We cut to any length.
- Suspension Type: Check if your tower uses a hanging tube or a grid support. Our sheets come with reinforced holes for tube suspension.
- Material Grade: Always verify if the material is UV-stabilized, as the air inlet side is exposed to direct sunlight.
Routine Maintenance
Inspect the bottom of the hanging sheets for ice buildup during winter. Heavy ice can tear the sheets from their suspension points. Regular cleaning ensures the integral louvers remain open for proper airflow.
